My absolute favorite figure of history and music. My now-husband and I took a trip to vienna last November and checked out Mozart’s old apartment - so weird looking out of the windows and thinking about how a totally alien genius 250 years ago looked out of those same windows onto the same street and wrote some of his best compositions. That night we saw the entirety of Mozart’s Requiem performed on a huge organ with a choir inside Saint Stephens Cathedral a few blocks away and my guy proposed right after. As somber as Requiem is I will always now associate it with that wonderfully unforgettable trip to Vienna, and looking out of Mozart’s apartment at Domgasse.

The package it arrived in wasn't horribly damaged. I actually took the TV out of the box, screwed in the feet, and put it on the table before noticing the damage. Sounds similar to the religion I grew up in. My sister was kicked out of the church for getting a divorce. Even though her husband was abusive and was cheating, because she was the one who filed for divorce she was kicked out and he could stay. It does look bluish. But what I immediately noticed was the reddish discoloration on the bridge of his nose and next to his nose that even orange makeup couldn't cover up. My mom has COPD and it seriously reminds me of the marks left behind when she's had an oxygen mask on.
