I'm an avid reader and always have been. One of the (many) reasons I divorced my ex husband is because he used to make fun of me for reading too much. He refused to buy me books or gift cards for book stores because I "go through books too fast and it isn't worth the money". The worst thing though was when we got into a several days long argument because I would rather read than watch TV. He accused me of "avoiding family time". So I started reading in the livingroom while him and his mom(lived with us) watched TV. Then he said sitting in the room wasn't really participating in family time so I basically told him to go fuck himself causing both of them to stop speaking to me for a week. If it matters they basically watched reality tv and sports, neither of which I cared for.

I dated a guy with a wrangler. He couldn’t afford to properly have it lifted and whatnot, just a DIY body lift and some big tires. The thing was a hunk of junk... super uncomfortable. Going over speed bumps at anything over a crawl was physically jarring and painful. He would practically slow to a stop for speed bumps.... then, after driving all over the vast mall parking lot and going over a dozen speed bumps, find a tall curb or something stupid so he could drive one tire onto it and park it there so we could walk a mile to the mall. I would says that’s almost impossible. I manage a venue on Long Island and we do (did) tons of these types of events. You have to pay per head. And the food and tables and every exact detail are all planned around the number of attendees. You can’t just suddenly have 50 extra people show up. My biggest problem is with logistics in the movies. Like one of the planet of the apes sequels. The apes get attacked by the last of humanity, men using these attack helicopters.
